What you will learn on the holiday

We have 3 Canon digital SLR's for guests to try who do not have their own.
What you will learn
Introduction:
For beginners or intermediate photographers we offer you the chance to take some excellent photographs in the stunning Spanish countryside.
The week is an enjoyable combination of practice and theory pushing your photography to a higher level.
What you will learn:
The digital and photographic techniques required to produce quality images with a minimum of post production work. We use practical demonstrations to learn about:
a. Aperture
b. Shutter speed
c. Exposure compensation
d. ISO settings
e. Uses of flash
f. Adobe Photoshop and workflow.
During the week you will go through the steps required to process your images and also print two of your favourite photographs for you take home and put on your wall. This helps both the beginner and intermediate photographer improve the quality of their output.
Part of the week contains two modules, one on ‘Stock Photography’ and the other on ‘Wedding photography’. Students in the past have asked us all kinds of questions and these two subjects have come to the forefront in recent times. Below is a brief description of these modules.
‘Stock Photography’ – Getting started:
Virtually anyone with a half decent camera can start supplying a photo agency with images after a little tuition. You do not have to be a professional and can easily do this in your spare time. It can give you extra regular income and most importantly it will help to drastically improve the quality of the images you take. Course notes are given to each student attending.
‘Wedding Photography’ – Getting started:
Most amateur photographers are asked to photograph a wedding at some point, whether it’s the wedding of a friend, work colleague or a paid shoot. We aim to help amateurs who wish to produce professional results. Again this could be a way of starting an additional revenue stream. Course notes are given to each student attending.
These two components take up approximately one day of the week.
As you have read, the week is packed with information and techniques (as well as giving you time to lounge by the pool!) and our aim is for you to leave with a greater insight on taking photographs and producing great results. Your time with us will be fun with a great balance of technicality, practicality and enjoyment-after all isn't that what photography is all about? You will have time to enjoy your visit to the area, learn at your own pace and ask as many questions as you wish.
Everybody is creative, we'll show you how good you are.
We look forward to meeting you.
