Valencian Photographic Holidays provides photography holidays in and around Ontinyent, Valencia, Spain. Guided by a professional photographer, the holidays are structured to help broaden photographic perception and improve image composition.
Valencian Photographic Holidays is based in the beautiful countryside outside the Spanish town of Ontinyent. Many photographic opportunities are just on the doorstep; rolling hills indented with the soft rays of the setting sun, trees bursting with luscious fruit and wild flowers delighting every sense.
The town itself offers a feast for the photographers' eye, literally humming with the influences of the many cultures that have left their mark.
The accommodation is situated in 2 acres of olive groves surrounded by hills.
We offer both single and shared accommodation with comfortable, light and airy rooms. There are plenty of cool areas to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Meals
All meals are prepared with fresh produce purchased at the local markets and shops. Having lived here for 5 years we have built strong ties with Ontinyent traders who will recommend the best of the day. Bev prepares a range of cuisines with tried and tested menu plans. Her passion for cooking can be experienced in the eating.

Evening meals are usually three courses. A typical evening meal would be:
Grilled giant prawns with fresh lemon and warm bread.
Roasted pork with juicy pineapple and honey, served with a variety of fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes in rosemary.
Tiramasu or ice-cream.
Coffee
Our local wine merchant and bodega have chosen a variety of quality wines for you to try.
A menu is given at the beginning of the week so choices can be made.
Individual dietary requirements are discussed prior to your holiday to avoid any problems.
Evening meals are usually taken together and provide time to reflect on the day and share experiences. The warm, balmy summer air makes al fresco eating a delight. In July and August fireworks in the valley can be seen. The night skies will fire you with the enthusiasm to become an astronomer!
In the colder months we eat in the main house and you will enjoy the comfort of a roaring log fire.
About Bev
Bev has catered professionally for 5 years .She is very knowledgeable about her trade and loves preparing new exciting dishes.
Bev is an international, personal life coach and a Reiki master. She also runs courses in Reiki which is a relaxing, healing therapy.
If you would like a treatment while you are here, Bev will be more than happy to sort this with you.
Bev always finds time for her photography as well and her enthusiasm and motivation are infectious! We are both interested in nature and the local landscapes and continually soak ourselves in Spanish culture. The knowledge we have of the Valencia area is extensive and we are always researching new locations for our many return guests.
Internet access is also available.
Pool and outdoor pizza oven
We have an outdoor pool where you can relax without having to keep an eye on your lounger!
From May to September the water is lovely to swim in and freshen up. There is also an outdoor oven, so if you want to be involved in making the worlds' greatest ever pizza, you can!
So after all this you will feel even more energised too indulge in your photography!
